Im Fokus des Films stehen die Blockaden des G8-Gipfels in Heiligendamm in Deutschland im Juni 2007. Der Film kombiniert dokumentarisches Bildmaterial mit Interviews und Animationssequenzen. Dabei werden drei zentrale Fragen der globalisierungskritschen Bewegung gestellt: Wer sind wir? Was ist unsere Macht? Was würde es bedeuten zu gewinnen?

Combining documentary material with interviews and animation sequences, this film focuses on the blockades at the Heiligendamm G8 Summit in June 2007 in Germany and poses the alter-globalization movement three key questions: Who are we? What power do we have? What would it mean to win?

Detroit 1968 is the center of a grassroot rebellion of young black workers in the auto industry. The film Finally we got the news was produced in 1970 together with the „League of Revolutionary Black Workers“. It draws a striking picture of the exploitation and racism at the workplaces as well as of the organizing efforts to fight back.
